Nepal Wildlife Tour - 9 Days

Once you arrive in Kathmandu Airport, you will complete your visa formalities and then meet our representative who will pick you up and shift you to three star hotel for your luxurious stay. You will get refreshed and then escorted to our Travel Agency where you will be introduced with your crew members. Some moments will be given to get up close and personal. You will enjoy delicious cuisine and get pleasant accommodation in Kathmandu.

We will get up with wakeup call and take light breakfast before leaving for full day Kathmandu tour of UNESCO enlisted sites. We will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Swayambhunath, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. Kasthamandap Temple, Kumari Ghar and Hanumandhoka temple are things to see in Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kasthamandap Temple was built from the single tree. Kumari Ghar is the home of living goddess. Swayambhunath which is also known as Monkey Temple is the oldest stupa in the world while Bouddhanath is one of the largest stupa in Nepal. We will also visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square and observe arts and design in palaces of medieval Nepal.

From Kathmandu, we will cover 983km distance in 5hrs drive to Chitwan. Canoeing, jungle walk, jungle safari and elephant back riding are the modes of Chitwan Exploration. We will visit Tharu native village in the evening and watch the cultural dance and learn about the culture.

We will wake up along with the soothing chirping of birds. We will get engaged in full day Chitwan Safari in dense sal forest during which we can have views of endangered one horned rhinoceros, ferocious Royal Bengal Tiger, rhesus monkeys, Gharial crocodile, musk deer, python and other wildlife. We will also visit elephant breeding center. We can have plenty of memorable photo shooting opportunities.

National Park is located 290km far from Chitwan. National park in Bardia is smaller in size than in Chitwan. We will arrive at Thakurdwara where the Headquarter of Bardia Park lies. You may also get an accommodation inside park, upon which case, we need to select the tented camps on bank of Karnali River.

We will explore the savanna region inside park. We can view endangered species like one horned rhinoceros and blackbuck. It is also the best bird watching destination. Rhinos can be spotted in the western section of park. We can also view Gangetic dolphin in the nearby Karnali River. Elephant, tiger, deer, gharial, marsh mugger and more than 250 species of birds like florican, silver eared mesia and sarus crane can be viewed. We can either choose jungle walk or 4WD jeep safari or elephant riding to explore the park.

Leaving Thakurdwara, we will follow the route through Motipur to Nepalgunj- Surkhet road and reach Nepalgunj Airport. We will take 40minutes of Nepalgunj to Kathmandu flight and arrive at Domestic Airport in Kathmandu from where we will be escorted to the hotel.

Spend the day on your own. You can either take rest on a hotel or explore around. Do the last minute preparation as you will be leaving for your next destination tomorrow.

Thamel is more popular destination for last minute shopping. You can buy souvenir items like handicrafts and masks in Thamel. You will be picked up at the hotel and shifted to Kathmandu Airport from where you will head towards your next destination. We hope to see you soon.
