Annapurna Circuit Trek - 16 Days Itinerary

Day 01

Arrive in TIA, Kathmandu (1400m)

On the first day of an itinerary you will inward in Nepal via Tribhuvan International Airport. In the airport you will be welcomed by the representative staff from Well Adventure Tours will let you know about detail itineraries. Stay overnight in hotel.

Day 02

Drive to Dharapani from Kathmandu by tourist vehicle.

Today, we embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani in a private tourist vehicle. The journey takes approximately 10 to 12 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. The drive up to Besisahar follows a smooth, paved concrete road, offering pleasant countryside views along the way.

From Besisahar, the adventure continues on a rugged dirt road for another 3 to 4 hours as we head toward Dharapani. To ensure comfort and safety, we arrange a vehicle best suited to the road conditions.

If weather conditions are favorable, the journey rewards us with magnificent views of Mount Annapurna II and III, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and Mount Lamjung, complemented by dramatic landscapes, suspension bridges, cascading waterfalls, and shimmering rivers.

Along the route, there will be opportunities to pause and capture memorable photographs of the mountains, waterfalls, and the authentic rural lifestyle of Nepal. Upon arrival in Dharapani, we settle in for the night and rest in preparation for the days ahead. 

Day 03

Trek to Chame from Dharapani.

Leaving Chame you will move to Dharapani with an altitude of 1,960 meter. Here, you will move to Manang district, crossing corn, potatoes and barley fields. You will speedily stroll through the forests of Rhododedron and bamboo and afterward you will turn up to Dharapani. Stay overnight in guesthouse.

Day 04

Trek to Upper pisang

Day 06

Trek to Manang.

We continue our trek through a varied landscape of rolling hills, dense forests, and alpine wetlands, enjoying the peaceful rhythm of the trail. The village of Braga (Bharka) welcomes us with striking views of ancient stone houses and historic Buddhist monasteries, offering a glimpse into the region’s deep-rooted traditions.

Along the way, we encounter awe-inspiring landscapes, centuries-old stupas, and traditional lama schools, all reflecting the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the Manang Valley. After approximately 3 to 4 hours of hiking, we arrive in Manang, one of the most vibrant and well-equipped overnight stops on the Annapurna Circuit, where we rest and acclimatize amid stunning Himalayan surroundings.

Day 07

Acclimatization day at Manang.

Day 11

Drive to Tatopani from Muktinath.

Today, we continue our drive along the Kali Gandaki River, passing through the world’s deepest gorge while soaking in the surreal landscapes of Mustang. This route toward Tatopani is comparatively busier than other sections of the Annapurna Circuit Trek, reflecting its importance as a key travel corridor.

En route, we pass through some of Mustang’s most scenic villages, including Kagbeni, Jomsom, and Marpha. These settlements offer a closer look at ancient stupas, traditional apple farming, and charming whitewashed houses, providing insight into the rich civilization of Mustang, once known as the “Forbidden Kingdom of Nepal.”

Descending through the Kali Gandaki River valley, we travel via Kopchepani, immersing ourselves in dramatic landscapes that shift from arid Mustang terrain to lush green forests. Along the way, we enjoy breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.

We travel in a shared tourist or local vehicle, either with our group or with travelers from other companies. However, if our group consists of four or more clients, we will arrange a private transfer for a more comfortable journey.

After approximately 6 to 7 hours of driving, we arrive in Tatopani, renowned for its natural hot springs. This popular stop is the perfect place to rest, relax, and rejuvenate—soaking in the warm, mineral-rich waters after a long and rewarding trek.

Day 12

Rest day at Tatopani and relax in natural hot spring.

Start your day by recharging your body with a refreshing shower, soaking in the healing natural hot springs, and enjoying local cuisine and drinks. Immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of Tatopani while experiencing its warm and welcoming hospitality.

Day 13

Trek to Ghorepani.

On the next day you will set off from Tatopani and move the Ghorepani. It is to be set up at the height of 2853 meter. The trail crosses two shiny streams listed to put together short and closing hike to Nangethanti. Ghorepani is the seperb location from where you can viewpoint the soaring mountain. Stay overnight at a Guesthouse. 

Day 14

Early morning hike to Poon Hill and back. Trek to Birethanti and same-day drive to Pokhara via Nayapul.

Poon Hill is one of Nepal’s most famous vantage points, renowned for its spectacular sunrise views over the Annapurna, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.

It is considered one of the best sunrise viewpoints in Nepal. We spend about an hour here, immersing ourselves in the breathtaking natural amphitheater, surrounding landscapes, and the glowing Himalayan panorama as the first light of day touches the peaks.

After descending back to Ghorepani, we enjoy a warm and hearty breakfast at our lodge. We then continue trekking downhill toward Birethanti via Tikhedhunga, passing along scenic ridgelines, charming villages, and lush alpine rhododendron forests.

Upon reaching Birethanti, we rest for a while before boarding a private tourist vehicle. The scenic drive takes approximately 1 to 2 hours along a combination of dirt tracks and smooth paved roads.

We then continue our journey to Pokhara, one of Nepal’s most popular tourist hubs. Pokhara offers a vibrant blend of leisure, adventure, and recreational activities, making it the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the serene lakeside atmosphere after completing the trek.

Day 15

Drive to Kthmandu from Pokhara.

We'll drive back to Kathmandu in the morning. In the evening, we'll host a farewell dinner at a fine restaurant, accompanied by your guides and an office staff member.

Day 16

Departure !!

This is the day to say good bye as you will depart from us accomplishing the Annapurna circuitTrek with Well Adventure Tours. Thus, our representative staff will take you to Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu .
