Ganesh Himal Trek - 14 Days Itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu

On the first day of an itinerary you will inward in Nepal via Tribhuvan International Airport. In the airport you will be welcomed by the representative staff from Well Adventure Tours who then transfer you to hotel. In the hotel we will discuss on detail itineraries so that we can modify or changes the plans as per your convenience. Stay overnight in hotel.

Day 02

Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Today, explore Kathmandu Valley's UNESCO World Heritage Sites, all culturally, religiously, and historically significant. Visit the revered Pashupatinath Temple, the major Buddhist pilgrimage sites of Swayambhunath and Boudhanath, and finally, wander through the historic Durbar Squares of Patan, Basantapur (Kathmandu), and Bhaktapur.

Day 03

Drive to Trishuli

After an early breakfast in Kathmandu on the third day, you'll drive to Salagkhu Khola. You'll have lunch en route to Trisuli, then enjoy a three-hour nature walk to Trisuli Bazaar, where you'll spend the night.

Day 04

Trek deurali bhanjyang from Trishuli

Departing from Trisuli Bazaar, today's trek crosses a suspension bridge over the Samari Khola to Deurali Bhanjyang (1,700m), a diverse ethnic village. The hike passes through terraced rice farms and numerous small settlements.

Day 05

Trek to Bhaisi kharka from Deurali

On day 5, you'll trek from Deurali to Bhaisi Kharaka for an overnight stay. A short walk will take you through the beautiful Salme Village before reaching your destination.

Day 06

Trek to bhaisi kharka to Kharani odar

After breakfast in Bhaisi Kharka, trek through bamboo, rhododendron, and pine forests to reach Kharani Odar at 2,800m. Along the way, observe diverse wildlife and bird species.

Day 07

Trek to singla pass from Kharani odar

Today is a special day as you ascend to Singla Pass, the highest viewpoint of the Ganesh Himal at 4,600m, starting from Kharani Odar. After an early breakfast, you'll trek through dense forests, gradually entering a high alpine environment with snow-capped peaks in every direction, bringing you closer to Ganesh Himal.

Day 08

Trek to singla pass from pongsang pass

Wake to glorious mountain views of Ganesh and Langtang Himal. After breakfast, descend from Singla Pass and trek to Pongsang (3,800 m).

Day 09

Rest day in Pongsang

The following day is for acclimatization. After lunch, you will explore the surroundings to adapt to the higher altitude and relax your body. At the end of the day, you will return to the camp at Pongsang Pass.

Day 10

Trek to Somdang Phedi from Pongsang pass

You'll descend to Somdang Phedi (3,300m), enjoying supreme views of the Mailung Khola valley amidst rolling hills and mountain peaks.

Day 11

Trek to Goltlang from somdang phedi

Today, you'll trek towards Somdang, leading to Yuri Kharka. Continue through dense forests and small villages to reach Gotlang in a few hours for an overnight stay.

Day 12

Trek to syaprubesi from gotlang

Today, hike through Tamang villages from Gotlang to Syabrubesi (1,400m) and stay overnight at a local guesthouse in Syabrubesi.

Day 13

Drive kathmandu from Syaprubesi
