Nepal Educational Tour - 10 Days

Once you arrive in Kathmandu Airport, you will complete your visa formalities and then meet our representative who will pick you up and shift you to three star hotel for your luxurious stay. You will get refreshed and then escorted to our Travel Agency where you will be introduced with your crew members. Some moments will be given to get up close and personal. You will enjoy delicious cuisine and get pleasant accommodation in Kathmandu.

We will get up with wakeup call and take light breakfast before leaving for full day Kathmandu tour of UNESCO enlisted sites. We will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Swayambhunath, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. Kasthamandap Temple, Kumari Ghar and Hanumandhoka temple are things to see in Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kasthamandap Temple was built from the single tree. Kumari Ghar is the home of living goddess. Swayambhunath which is also known as Monkey Temple is the oldest stupa in the world while Bouddhanath is one of the largest stupa in Nepal. We will also visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square and observe arts and design in palaces of medieval Nepal.

5 hrs drive along Prithvi Highway will take us to Pokhara. It is the second largest city of Nepal. Time permitting, we will take thrilling cable car ride in Kurintar to reach Manakamana- the temple of wish fulfilling goddess. You can explore Pokhara on your own or take rest in hotel in lakeside Pokhara.

We will begin this day with Sarankot hiking. It is the famous spot for sunrise in Pokhara. Seti Gorge, Davids Fall, International Mountaineering Museum and Limestone Cave of Mahendra Cave are other most visited sites in Pokhara. We will engage in Boating in Phewa Lake in the evening. You can see reflection of Machhapuchhre Mountain in the clear water of Phewa Lake.

Leaving Pokhara early in the morning, we will cover 83.2km distance to reach Chitwan. Canoeing, jungle walk, jungle safari and elephant back riding are the means of Chitwan Exploration. We will visit Tharu native village in the evening and watch the cultural dance and learn about their ancient culture.

We will wake up along with the soothing chirping of birds. We will get engaged in full day Chitwan Safari in dense sal forest during which we can have views of endangered one horned rhinoceros, ferocious Royal Bengal Tiger, rhesus monkeys, Gharial crocodile, musk deer, python and other wildlife. We will also visit elephant breeding center. We can have plenty of memorable photo shooting opportunities.

We will take Lumbini Pilgrimage Tour on 7th day. Lumbini is the UNESCO World Heritage Site list and the birthplace of Lord Buddha. It takes 3hrs to cover 106km distance and reach Lumbini. We will explore Sacred Lumbini Garden which marks the birth spot of Lord Buddha- the light of Asia. We will also visit Maya Devi Temple and Ashoka Pillar.

After having breakfast, we will head west and cover 27km distance to make it to Tilaurakot. It is the ancient palace of King Suddhodhana. It was in this place where Buddha spent his early childhood as a Shakya Prince. We will visit Kapilvastu Museum and watch ancient pottery, jewelry and ornaments. We will also visit stupas and monuments before returning to hotel.

We will cover 300km distance to reach Kathmandu from Lumbini. We will reach Kathmandu after taking an 8hrs of ride in cozy Tourist Bus. We will check-in at hotel. Spend rest of your day on your own and enjoy pleasant meal in the evening. We can get view of Trishuli River, dense forest, green hills and vast expanse of rice terrains throughout the way.

Thamel is more popular destination for last minute shopping. You can buy souvenir items like handicrafts and masks in Thamel. You will be picked up at the hotel and shifted to Kathmandu Airport from where you will head towards your next destination. We hope to see you soon.
